Growing up in Haiti and moving to the United States at 12, I quickly learned firsthand how having legal representation could make a difference. Watching the law’s impact on people’s lives sparked a lasting appreciation for the importance of solid legal support—it’s not just about knowing the law; it’s about having someone in your corner when it matters most. After high school, I took a unique detour and joined the military, eventually earning a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. These experiences only fueled my interest in law, leading me to pursue my next adventure: law school in bustling New York City. Excelling on the LSAT, I got into New York Law School, eager to dive into the legal world. Law school was not just a place of study for me—it was a living, breathing experience. My internships at esteemed institutions like the New York City Mayor’s Office and the New York State Attorney General’s Office provided me with invaluable real-world legal experience. Leading the Black Law Students Association further enriched my understanding and expanded my professional network. My post-graduation journey led me to the courtroom, where I had the privilege of assisting a New York State Supreme Court judge with trials, settlements, and decision drafting. This role was a revelation, particularly in handling complex business disputes. It was here that I discovered my true passion and where I could make a significant impact. Driven by a clear vision and a profound understanding of the intricacies of business disputes, I established Alisme Law LLC. Our mission is to offer unwavering and comprehensive litigation representation to business owners, freeing them to concentrate on their core business. We excel in legal representation in business disputes, from contract disputes to shareholder actions, ensuring our clients’ interests are always protected.
