Growing up, I was deeply influenced by my father, a founding member of his law firm. Listening to stories about his cases, I saw firsthand how he helped individuals navigate their traumas and positively impacted their lives through his representation. This instilled in me a profound respect for the legal profession and a desire to follow in his footsteps. From a young age, I felt a strong inclination towards law school. It was always a part of my aspirations. As I progressed through my academic journey in college, this inclination became a concrete goal of mine. I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Business at the University of Texas, understanding that effective communication is essential in any profession. Additionally, a foundation in business provided valuable insights into how businesses operate. Ultimately, my father’s noble work and the positive change he brought into people’s lives inspired me to pursue a career in law, thus I enrolled in law school at Emory University, aiming to continue this legacy of making a difference through legal representation. I now run the law firm my father helped found, Cofman and Townsley, (Instagram: @cofmantownsley Facebook: CofmanTownsley) and am committed to being a consistently positive figure within the law industry for the people and community of St. Louis.
