Section 1

short title 1. This Act may bc called the Raw Jute Repealing Act, 1952.

Section 2

2. Repeal of West Ben. Act VI of 1951.- The Raw Rule Act, 1951 , is hereby repealed.

Section 3

3. Protection.- Notwithstanding the repeal of the Raw Jute Act, 1951, no suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government and no suit, prosecution or oilier legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which was in goad faith done, or intended to be done, under that Act or any rules made thereunder while that Act was in force.

The provisions of sub-section shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the provisions of section 8 of the Bengal General Clauses Act, 1899 .
