(2) The Finance Officer may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Vice-Chancellor. (3) If the Finance Officer is for any reason temporarily unable to exercise the powers and perform the duties of his office, the Vice Chancellor may, subject to the approval of the Executive Council, appoint a person temporarily for a total period not exceeding six months, to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Finance Officer.
