I am Mari Kiridjian, the president and founder of AG Law Group, APC, a personal injury and lemon law firm in Los Angeles, California. As a young child, I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer. There was never a Plan B. I never imagined myself doing anything else. Perhaps it was my lifelong passion for advocacy. I had one goal, and no matter what happened, I knew I had to make it work. With tunnel vision, I embarked on my legal journey. After law school, I began working for a reputable national defense litigation firm. I gained invaluable experience, honed my skills, and built a successful career. But after several years of defense work, I found myself asking: What am I really doing with my life? What is my purpose, and what legacy am I preparing to leave behind in this world? It didn’t take long to realize that I did not feel fulfilled. I wasn’t ultimately pursuing the goals I had set out for myself. I felt a deep need to align my career with my values and aspirations. Several years later, I found the strength to take a risk and completely shift my focus. Today, I can proudly say I serve justice. The most fulfilling part of my career is knowing I help people find closure. I give them a voice they otherwise would not have. There is no sleep until justice is served. This work is challenging, and it requires countless hours away from my kids, but it’s worth it to make the world a better place in whatever small way I can.
