My name is Meg Ledebuhr and I am the founder of Midwest Fertility Law Group. From the moment I embarked on my legal career, I knew I wanted to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. My journey into the world of third-party reproduction law was more than a professional choice; it was a deeply personal one too. Having navigated the path of infertility myself, I understand the emotional complexities of the family-building journey. I previously served as the Director of Legal Services at an international egg donation and surrogacy agency. This role allowed me to coordinate the legal aspects of gestational surrogacy and egg donor arrangements, working closely with industry leaders, medical professionals, intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors. It was here that I honed my expertise in assisted reproductive technology (ART), ensuring that every party involved was supported and legally protected. My background also includes significant litigation experience gained at several well-respected family law firms. Representing clients in fertility and adoption matters, I developed a keen understanding of the courtroom and how to advocate effectively for my clients’ most heartfelt desires. This empathy and insight have been pivotal in shaping Midwest Fertility Law Group. I believe in guiding my clients through their journeys with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support.
