Madhya Pradesh Rajya Bhumi Vikas Nigam Adhiniyam, 2010

Section 1

This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Bhumi Vikas Nigam Adhiniyam, 2010. It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.

Section 2

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires:- "appointed day" means the date of commencement of this Act under sub-section of Section 1; "Nigam" means the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Bhumi Vikas Nigam established under Section 3 of the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Bhumi Vikas Nigam Adhiniyam, 1976 .

Section 3

On the appointed day the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Bhumi Vikas Nigam Adhiniyam, 1976 shall stand repealed and the Nigam shall stand dissolved. All assets and liabilities of the Nigam on the appointed day shall stand vested in the State Government and the State Government shall have all powers necessary to take possession, recover and deal with such assets and discharge such liabilities. The repeal shall not affect,- any other enactment in which the repealed enactment has been applied, incorporated or referred to; or any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the act so repealed; or the previous operation of the Act so repealed or consequences of any thing already done or suffered thereunder; or any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the Act so repealed; or any legal proceedings or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation or liability as aforesaid and any such legal proceedings or remedy may be continued or enforced as if this Act had not been passed.
