Section 40 of Bombay State Reserve Police Force Rules, 1959

Rule 40 :-

If the recruit fails to attain the required proficiency within a period of 6 months, the period of training may be extended for a further period not exceeding 6 months, unless there are special reasons. If he fails again to pass the recruits test at the end of the extended period, he may be discharged by the Commandant.
